Easy Dinner Rolls Print this recipe
This is another recipe we do in our countertop KitchenAid mixer, but you can do this by hand in a
bowl as well. These rolls take a little planning in advance but are well worth it in the end - very yummy!
1 c. warm water
2 pkgs yeast (do not use rapid rise)
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
3 Sweetlove Farm fresh eggs
1 t. salt
4 1/4 c. flour
1. Combine water and yeast, let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Combine yeast mixture, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt in mixer.
3. With mixer running on medium speed, add flour, 1 cup at a time.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 3 days.
5. After 2 hours (or up to 3 days), grease 2 jelly roll pans or flat cookie sheets.
6. Turn dough out onto a floured surface.
7. Divide dough into 24 pieces.
8. Roll each piece into a smooth round ball.
9. Place in rows on cookie sheets.
10. Cover with damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour or doubled in size.
11. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
