Pasture-raised chicken

Our broilers (meat birds) are processed right here on our farm and are available for purchase by contacting us or by filling out the order form below to set up delivery or special pickup.

Succulent and tender
Our birds are delicious oven-roasted, charcoal-grilled, smoked, fried or poached in the crock pot. Golden, velvety stock for outstanding soups and stews. We raise the happiest, healthiest, safest, most sustainable and best-tasting chickens.

Here’s why we know it’s true
Our chickens are raised in light-weight, moveable shelters that give our birds all the things they would naturally want:
  • shelter from the elements
  • constant access to fresh air and sunshine
  • a diet of pasture grasses, bugs, seeds and our specially blended feed ration
The shelters are moved once or twice daily depending on age so that our birds are always enjoying fresh, clean pasture.

Soil fertility
The moveable hoop houses keep our birds safe from the weather and predators as they grow, while allowing us to increase the fertility and organic matter of our pasture soils through the controlled spreading of their highly enriching manure as they move around the field.

The results?

Simply the most outstanding chickens you will ever eat. Just ask the chefs at Merchant's or Hank Charcuterie - or go try our chicken for yourselves. These restaurants serve our chicken on their menus on a regular basis. We love partnering with local restaurants!
